Purchased on Oct 2/2023 1st: It is the same price as the P226 XFive, but unlike the XFive, this Legion does not include a Custom Works lockable hard case and challenge coin. You will have to join the Legion account to receive a 5.11 LEGION PREMIUM ZIPPERED soft case and a LEGION coin. And the Legion coin(s) is not unique to this XFive Legion pistol either. At first I thought the custom have to purchase the separately. I was wrong there. The Legion Case and the Legion Coin should have been included with this $2,300 pistol purchase. I can't help but feel Sig Is gouging their customer. 2nd: The pistol came with amateur-like half-ass paint job. You can see where the painter masked off the frame for painting with the original black coating showing. I am not a professional painter, and I've never painted any pistol, but I can guarantee my customers will get a perfect paint job from me every time because I care, unlike Sig. 3rd: When I disassemble the pistol for cleaning and oil before taking to the range. I discovered rust spots under the slide by the safety lock, rust on the lock block, slide lock, ejector, spring guide rod, and springs. Fortunately, all the rust is surface only(sitting dry in the parts box too long?), and I could clean all the rust off with CLP. That is something I, as a customer, shouldn't have to do. When Sig test fires the pistol, they could have wiped off the rust before they shipped it out. Those guy at Sig, the project manager of this pistol, obviously doesn't give a shit about what they are putting out. Very disappointing. They should all get fired. As performance goes, I have yet to have time to take to the range, but I'm sure it will perform just as well as my other P226 XFive. Two stars only because of too many disappointments.
