10 round 7.62x39mm all metal magazine in a 30 round body.  These magazines are permanently modified to only allow 10 rounds to be inserted so they are legal for purchase and use in California and other states that limit magazine capacity to 10 rounds.

These magazines are used surplus magazines, and as such, may show signs of wear and could have a light coating of oil or cosmoline on them.  Please be prepared to perform a little cleaning prior to handling.

Pros: Looks good Cons: Only holds 3 rounds, has some kind of solid piece of something jammed in it which im assuming is bigger than what it was supposed to be. Tried to return it immediately but couldnt because I had already tossed the physical invoice. Even though I assume riflegear.com could just as easly look up the order (and recognize their craftmanship). This was the first order from riflegear that left me disappointed.

Like the description says: you should clean the magazine before you use it. Mine had rust inside the body. I could only fit 9 rounds in it, but thats good, don't wanna risk inserting an 11th round. So it was ok for the price

The overall black finish was good but the fit and feeding was terrible. I had to use my dremel tool to grind down the little nipples where the follower and rounds sit against on. For some reason the thickness is too high so the rounds wont feed correctly. Also I had to grind down the sides of the mag in order to fit my mag well. Not sure if I received a bad mag compared to others but just giving you a heads up if you do decide to purchase this item. Have a dremel handy.
