The MSAR STG-556 with the 16" barrel does not meet the minimum overall length (OAL) requirement of 30" for semi-automatic centerfire rifles in California. The Raddlock MSAR barrel Extension/Converter solves this problem by adding a extension to the muzzle end of the barrel. This steel, parkerized barrel extension is threaded M13 LH x ½"x28 RH and used in conjunction with a ½"x28 AR-15 type muzzle device will meet or exceed the minimum 30" OAL requirement. But for accuracy and better gas relief, it is highly recommend a Flash Hider is used instead of Compensator with this extension.
