If you travel outside of California, the Utah CCW is one of the most valuable Non-Resident Multi-State CCW permits available based on their recognition by other states. The Utah Non-Resident Concealed Firearms Permit is available to any law abiding citizen who is over the age of 21 and who meets the *minimum requirements. The permit is valid for concealed carry in all of the states indicated in blue on the map above. The required training course is a minimum of 4 hours in length and costs $149. Included are the required fingerprints, notary and passport photo. The Utah permit is valid for 5 years and costs only $65.25. Both your initial application and 5 year renewals are by mail. This comprehensive course includes everything needed to apply immediately. Receive your permit in 6-8 weeks. No shooting test is required. You can carry any legal handgun. *MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must be at least 21 years of age, and whereas the applicant has not been convicted of: a felony, any crime of violence, any offense involving the use of alcohol, narcotics or other controlled substances, or of any offense involving moral turpitude or domestic violence, and the applicant has not been adjudicated by a court as mentally incompetent.
